The Field is Axel Willner from Sweden. He is one big reverberating crescendo that will make you go crazy at the right moments. If you have not purchased From Here We Go Sublime or heard it do yourself a favor and do so. That record will be in the top 3 of my favorite records of 2007. The best thing about The Field is that his records work in the club but also function well at home. He has recently remixed 'Tonto' by Battles, which will be released on November 6th in the US and on October 22 for everybody else. It will also include a Four Tet remix. I've also added his remix of 'Hera' by Kompakt labelmate Gui Boratto. The sound of the Gui's track mixes so well with Axel's style. Get lost in his pulsating ambience:
